Privacy Policy

We use CloudFlare to make our service faster and more robust against DDoS attacks.
Other than what CloudFlare provides in their normal plans no logs are kept for downloads except for the last access time.

For uploads we store the following data in unecrypted form.
- Key of the uploader (This is done to allow the uploader to delete the file if they decide to do so)
- FileId (This is done to identify each uploaded file)
- Filesize (This is for the statistics on the front page)
- Number of parts

We also store the encrypted version of the following information. (These can only be decrypted with the URL to your file, the encryption keys are never sent to the server)
- File name
- File type
- File data

For temporary (single use or expiring downloads) we additionally store the following information.
- Expiration time (For expiring downloads. This is a UNIX timestamp)
- Single use (For single use downloads. This is either True or False)

For upload keys we track when the key was last used. (This is for the "Active Users" counter on the front page)

The encryption keys from the files you view are never sent to the server.
That means that no entity other than you and the recipient can decrypt the files or file names of the things you upload.
We do our best to ensure that we provide the most powerful encryption algorithms are available for our users.
